UTÖ BACKYARD 2026

Welcome to the archipelago! Utö is one of the Stockholm archipelago's most beautiful islands with a rich history that stretches back to the Middle Ages, mainly through its iron ore mining, which began in the 12th century and continued until the 19th century. Today, Utö is one of the archipelago's obvious destinations with a lively guest harbor, award-winning Utö Wärdshus and the place where Swimrun was invented. Utö Backyard consists of two beautiful lap races - Utö Backyard 3.3K and Utö Extreme6.4K. In Utö Backyard you run 15 laps starting every 30 minutes, in Extreme 7.5 laps starting every hour.
