Finnhamn Swimrun Stockholm Archipelago is a world consisting of more than 30.000 islands. Some are several km wide and some are just a rock sticking up out of the water. Finnhamn is right in the middle of this heaven for swimrunners! Large parts of Finnhamn are nature reserves and nature offers a mix of wide views, hilly terrain and agricultural life. Finnhamn is a magnificent archipelago, the barren outer archipelago with rocky outcrops, juniper bushes and small beaches, archipelagos, flower meadows and lovely deciduous halls and breathtaking views! In collaboration with Finnhamn's Archipelago, Wolffwear proudly presents Finnhamn Swimrun , a swimrun event suitable for everyone! Featuring challenging technical trails for adventurers, shorter distances for beginners, and a friendly atmosphere. Choose between three different distances: FINNHAMN EXPERIENCE (5 km) 6 running sections totaling 4.3 km (longest run: 1.5 km) 5 swimming sections (longest swim: 210 m) A shorter distance ideal for beginners, families, or those wanting to try swimrun on a stunning island with an adventurous and scenic course. FINNHAMN SPRINT (13.5 km) Adventurous, scenic course with technical running for those seeking challenges 13 segments: approximately 1,500 m of swimming over 12 sections (longest run: 3.8 km, longest swim: 320 m) This distance is part of the Sweden Swimrun Sprint Series . Sweden Swimrun Sprint Series The Finnhamn Swimrun SPRINT is part of the Sweden Swimrun Sprint Series. Participate in at least two races to compete in the series and enjoy discounts (gift cards), prizes, and medals. Complete all six races to receive a 600 SEK gift card, a diploma, and the chance to win additional prizes! MySwimrun Championships The MySwimrun Championships is an exciting global swimrun series celebrating the sport in stunning and culturally rich locations. Finnhamn Swimrun is part of this prestigious series, offering athletes a top-class event to showcase endurance and skill amidst Finnhamn’s breathtaking surroundings. About Finnhamn Large parts of Finnhamn are nature reserves, boasting wide vistas, rugged terrain, and charming agricultural landscapes. This island in Stockholm’s outer archipelago offers everything from rocky cliffs and flowering meadows to serene beaches and lush greenery. Finnhamn Swimrun is open to beginners and seasoned participants and can be completed solo or in teams (women, men, or mixed). After the race, enjoy a hearty meal prepared on-site! Transportation Finnhamn is easily accessible year-round by private or public boats. The trip from Stockholm takes approximately two hours: Cinderella boats from Stockholm Waxholm Line (routes 12, 13, and north/south lines) Race start times align with boat schedules.
