1852 Swimrun 2026 - experience and atmosphere in focus We take on Dragsö and Karlskrona, which finally gets a swimrun competition again.We present a new location, new city, new event, new arena, new atmosphere and some new rules that will make the competition even more exciting Part of the Envol Race Circle and is therefore Envol Endorsed. Read more about it here https://envolcoaching.net/2023/11/09/envol-race-circle/ Last year's success continues on Dragsö: Kids Swimrun/852 Swimrun The swimrun party starts on Friday, August 7th at 5 pm with Kids Swimrun (852 Swimrun) on Dragsö. Then you can try the concept of a lap course that is 852 m and here you do as many laps as you want in an hour. On Saturday we have of course the main event! 1852 Swimrun! The most social and spectacular swimrun competition will show off the atmosphere and a completely new arena experience on Dragsö in 2026. The competition is probably the only competition that suits beginners to the very elite equally well. The course stretches around Dragsö's winding paths, past the campsite, through the troll's path and swimming from both the northern bathing area and over Dragsö's large bathing area. Read more about the island here https://www.visitkarlskrona.se/sv/badplats-dragso We meet at Havsviken's restaurant https://www.havsviken.se/ at 08:00 on Dragsö and the start is then 08:52 just outside the restaurant towards Dragsö's bathing area. The competition class is in solo class and has the same rules as before, i.e. the competitors must make it along the 1852 m long course before the time of 18 minutes 52 seconds ticks out. When the time has expired, the next lap starts and anyone who has not finished before that leaves the competition or starts again in the exercise/youth class. From the 4th lap, the last person to finish also leaves the competition or starts again in the exercise/youth class. Just like the last edition, there will be a sprint prize every 4th lap for the person who finishes first. The competition runs until 18:52 at the latest or until there are only 2 competitors left who compete in a final. New for 2026 is that there will also be a women's final corresponding to the one who finishes the entire competition in 1852 swimrun. The exercise/youth class has the same course as the competition class but must complete each lap in no more than 28 minutes 18 seconds when the next lap starts again. In this class you only leave the competition if you do not meet the time and there are no sprint prizes to be won. The competition runs as long as the competition class is running and at the latest until 18:52. Mandatory equipment is a wetsuit, swimming cap, competition vest, first aid kit and whistle. Other permitted equipment follows ÖtillÖ swimrun rules. After the competition there will be an after race party at Havsvikens restaurant on the island where we will hang out, dance and talk through the competition with each other to food, music and drinks.
